High-temperature fans by IPS Stanwood are meticulously constructed and tested to exacting specifications.

IPS Stanwood offers a unique ability in the replacement and
repair of high-temperature fans. IPS Stanwood's cast blades
are designed both to provide the performance and service
expected and to utilize the best foundry practices consistent
with quality casting. An extensive examination of each and
every fan casting includes a static balancing process to
insure a uniform material section throughout the blade by a
comparison of weight and geometric centers. In addition, each
fan is examined between the critical hub and the blade area.
The shafts are precision machined utilizing a nickel chrome
alloy. The components are welded utilizing a special technique
to insure minimum weld dilution of material for a sound weld,
and the finished assembly is dynamically balanced by mounting
in a simulated furnace situation.

In many cases old fans can be reconditioned and balanced
inexpensively. At times it may be necessary to replace the
shaft or blade, but this replacement generally results in an
expenditure less than that of a new fan. IPS Stanwood
maintains an inventory of assemblies. Those not in inventory
can usually be manufactured within two to three weeks. You'll
be glad to know, however, that in emergencies IPS Stanwood can
produce a fan in approximately 72 hours.
